Frequently Asked Questions
Generally, we only install materials that we sell. However, we will install materials that have been purchased from another vendor. In the case of wood, laminate, and vinyl plank products, we will install the materials upon our own favorable inspection of the product, and providing that the area(s) of coverage total to 500 sq ft or more.
In the case of stone tile, an area of no less than 200 sq ft is required. For carpet, a total coverage are of no less than 200 sq yd is needed.
Some of the most efficient ways to keeping your carpet clean are:
- Removing your shoes before entering the carpeted space
- Using socks or slippers when walking on carpet
- Not eating in carpeted areas
- Vacuum once a week whether the carpet appears to need it or not
By doing these things will keep your carpet soil free, dust, and dander free.
Minor scratches can be removed from natural floors. There are DIY remedies available for sale at home improvement stores; however, these products rarely deliver desired results. To remove minor scratches from wood floors, we recommend having natural wood resurfaced to preserve the quality and appearance of your floor.
The biggest culprit of scratches and dents in wood flooring are hard soled heels. To prevent scratches, we recommend using socks and slippers on wood floors.
We recommend regularly sweeping with a broom and mopping with water and a mild detergent to keep laminate flooring clean and looking new for many years to come.
